About dr. shirley durham

 Dr. Shirley Durham is a licensed Evangelist with the Pentecostal Assembly of the World Inc (P.A.W.) since 1990. She retired from 35 years of childcare and 27 of those years as a business owner. She is married to Bishop Harold Durham, the Pastor of Better Way Apostolic Church in Arlington, Texas. 

Dr. Shirley has five children and four grandchildren. Presently she is working as a Co- counselor at Better Way Counseling, as a Family Therapist, Chemical Dependency Counselor, DWI Educator, Anger Management Facilitator, and Pearson Vue Testing Administrator. 

Dr. Shirley graduated from the School of the Scripture, with a Doctoral Degree in Christian Counseling. She graduated from Paul Quinn College with a Degree in Organizational Management. She graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Degree in Child Development. She graduated from Tarrant County College with a Certification in Substance Use and Mental Health.

Dr. Shirley likes working with people who have the desire to do better in society. 

Dr. Shirley is an Author, Recording Artist, and Play Writer.

She is the founder of Pastor's Spouses Day; celebrated every first Sunday in September.
